Side Entry Ball Valves
Perar Compact Ball Valves are designed according to API6A to combine a compact design with robustness and reliable performances. The valves do not rely on lubricant or grease to assist sealing between the ball and seat also when metal-to-metal sealing is used. The valve design is based on trunnion mounted or support plate configuration in order to get the operating torque as lower as possible.

Emergency sealing system at stem and seats area, if required. Safety relieve valve in case of cavity over pressure (suggested only with Liquid Hydrocarbon).
Top Entry Body
API spec 6D Ball Valves Trunnion supported ball, Top Entry design, cast body, bolted bonnet, metal to metal or soft seated sealing design, self relieving spring loaded seats or double piston effect sealing system, anti-static device, anti blow-out proof stem, double block and bleed or block and bleed , vent and drain fittings, self lubricating stem and trunnion bearings to assure low operating torque throughout entire valve life, fire safe design to BS 6755 parts 2. Some of these Top Entry valves are installed in vertical position, have been supplied with internal sleeves to allow the line to be flushed without damaging the valve seals while some of them are metal seated.

The Subsea ball valves are actuated by Perar quarter-turn hydraulic actuator or gearbox as requested.They are designed to API 17D for deep water application with hydraulic supply pressure up to 5000 psi as per customer or project requirements. The core mechanism of the actuator can be Rack & Pinion or Helical Spline. They can be equipped with mechanical override intervention mechanism and can be diver or ROV retrievable. Subsea quarter-turn gearboxes operating Ball or Swing Check valves are designed to API 17D for deep water application with ROV interface as per customer or project requirements. Subsea gate valves come in through conduit slab or double expanding type and are tailored according to API 6DSS, API 6A, API 17D with the addition of customer and project requirements. Subsea linear hydraulic actuators are designed to API 17D for deep water application with hydraulic supply pressure up to 5000 psi as per customer or project requirements. All models can be either double acting (DA) or single acting spring return (FSC or FSO).
Perar Rotary Control Ball Valves are developed with status-of-art of technology, in accordance to International Standard ISA S75, IEC 534. The ball has an integrated proprietary trim to control the hydro and aerodynamic flow disturbances. The Perar Trim is designed to meet the requirements with a number of low-noise plates to divide the pressure drop in stages. The low noise plates are integral part of a replaceable cartridge.
Perar has specialised in Low Temperature and Cryogenic service to the extreme temperature of minus 196 Deg C, in accordance to the most stringent specifications. Perar Ball Valves in cryogenic service are supplied with extended bonnet with a sufficient gas column length (vapour space) to keep the stem seals exposed only to vapour and not the cold liquid to ensure functional integrity. Suitable seals are selected considering the customer’s process indication. PTFE lip seal spring energised or KEL-F are commonly used.
In the three way Ball Valves the ball of trunnion mounted configuration is supported by bearing plates hold by the end adaptors. In such a way the pressure loads are transferred to the valve body granting a smooth rotation of the ball with low torque levels and reduced seat seal wear.PERAR Trunnion Mounted Bolted Body Side‐Entry Ball Valves represent the basic design standard. They are manufactured in a wide range of sizes and pressure classes typically from forgings.
